Location Data

With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate location data to help you discover nearby restaurants, tag dining locations in your posts, and connect with local food enthusiasts. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.

Payment Information

If you make purchases through Munchable, payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details on our servers. Stripe may collect payment card information, billing address, and transaction details in accordance with their own privacy policy.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide and maintain the Service — operating the Munchable platform, enabling you to post, discover, and interact with food content
• Personalize your experience — curating your feed based on your food preferences, dietary interests, followed accounts, and engagement history
• Process payments — facilitating transactions through our payment processor, Stripe, for any premium features or in-app purchases
• Analytics and improvement — understanding how users interact with Munchable so we can improve features, fix bugs, and develop new functionality
• Communications — sending you service-related notifications, updates, security alerts, and (with your consent) promotional content about new features or food-related recommendations

Content you have posted publicly (such as food photos and reviews) may persist in cached or archived forms even after deletion, though we make reasonable efforts to remove it from our active systems promptly.

Aggregated and anonymized data that can no longer be associated with you may be retained indefinitely for analytical and product improvement purposes.

• Data Export — You can request a portable copy of your data, including your profile information, posts, and activity history, in a commonly used machine-readable format.
• Withdraw Consent — Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

6 Cookies & Tracking

Munchable uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our platform:

Munchable integrates with the following third-party services to provide and improve the platform:

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe to securely process all payments on Munchable. When you make a purchase, your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only limited transaction details (such as confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card) necessary to fulfill your order.

Amazon Web Services — S3 (Image Storage)

Food photos, profile pictures, and other media you upload to Munchable are stored securely on Amazon Web Services S3. AWS processes this data on our behalf and in accordance with AWS's Privacy Policy. We maintain strict access controls to ensure your content is protected.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services, as their practices are governed by their own policies and are outside of our direct control.

8 Children's Privacy

Munchable is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at hello@munchable.io.

Upon verification, we will promptly delete such information from our systems. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that data.
